Have your say, urges Downtown chairman

April 7th, 2009

Chairman of Downtown Preston In Business (DPIB), Frank McKenna, is urging the Lancashire business community to have a say in how their county is run.

Mr McKenna believes the Lancashire Business Survey is a unique way for commercial organisations to make politicians at local and national level aware of the factors affecting companies in the region, and to lobby for real changes. He said: “The survey gives DPIB a great deal of ammunition for use in its work as a lobby group.

“Representing the interests of many Lancashire businesses, it is vital for us to understand the hopes and fears of our membership, and the last survey helped shape DPIB’s focus for the year brilliantly.

“The survey gives us hard facts and figures to use in our lobbying of local and central Government, and the more information provided by businesses the better. I would urge everyone to go online and take part in the survey.”
